Neemuch Weapon Deal On Social Media: Neemuch Cantt Police has busted a gang selling illegal weapons by sending photographs through social media. Four people associated with the gang have been arrested. These accused used to send photos to the buyers on social media and if they liked it, they would supply weapons. This is an interstate gang of thieves, their link has also come to the fore in Rajasthan.

According to the police, on December 08, 22, the informer received information that Danish Pathan resident of Neemuch was standing with a pistol at Javad Fanta and was about to give it to someone. After the information, the police reached Jawad Fanta. Where a person started running after seeing the police, when he was caught, he told his name as Danish alias Altaf Pathan, father of Officer Pathan, resident of Ambedkar Colony. On being searched, a country-made pistol and one live round were found in his possession. He said, he was given 2 pistols and 1 round by Manoj alias Gautam. Police caught Manoj alias Gautam. Manoj told that Ayush alias Asu had given him 3 pistols and 2 rounds. Then Ayush was arrested, Ayush told that both he and Suryoday alias Golu used to bring pistols from Signur village, district Khargone. Which he used to sell around Neemuch. A country made pistol has also been found near Suryoday. To save the pistol, these people used to make customers through social media platforms. Used to send photographs of pistols as well.
With the help of cyber cell, information about messages sent on social media is being obtained. A few days ago, Danish had sold a pistol to a person who was caught by the Nimbahera police. In that case also Danish is wanted. In this way a total of 5 pistols and 4 live rounds were seized from the accused and a case was registered under the Arms Act.
