Fraud in the name of credit card, caught by crime branch, arrested from Jaipur




Bhopal Crime News: Taking major action, the Bhopal Cyber ​​Crime Branch has arrested three accused of cheating from Rajasthan. According to information, these people were cheating people in the name of redeeming cashback points of credit cards. Laptops and 9 mobile phones have been recovered from them and search is on for other absconding accused.

On October 28, a complaint was made to the cybercrime branch by a person named Rakesh Kumar that he had received a message in the name of HDFC Bank to redeem cashback points of a credit card, in which a link was given. On clicking the link, a page was shown open in which the bank’s mono was attached. When he entered the credit card and CVV number, 1 lakh 35 thousand were deducted in 2 times.

Taking action soon after receiving the complaint, the police had registered a case of cheating against Jal Sansa. After technical investigation, it was revealed that 3 fraudsters are in Jaipur, Rajasthan from where they were arrested. Mobiles and laptops used in the incident have also been recovered from them.

These people used to message in the name of redeeming cashback points. If someone used to open the link of the command, then after entering the details, he used to transfer this money to his account and withdraw it from the ATM. The link that these people send to the consumer is fully accessed so that cheating can be done.
