Due to the fear of losing land in the construction of the bridge, the farmer drank insecticide, undergoing treatment in the hospital




Mandsaur News: A farmer has taken the step of suicide due to the fear of losing his land for the construction of a bridge in Mandsaur. The farmer has consumed pesticide after which he is being treated in the hospital. At present, his condition is being told out of danger.

The Finance Minister has performed Bhoomi Pujan 20 days ago for the construction of the bridge in which the farmer drank insecticide due to the fear of losing his land. The whole matter is related to Dodia Meena of Mandsaur. A bridge is going to be constructed here on the Shivna river at a cost of Rs 5 crore 71 lakh. Finance Minister Jagdish Deora has done Bhoomi Pujan on 12th November.

PWD officers, engineers and revenue officers had arrived to inspect and measure the land for the construction of this bridge being built with the help of PWD. The farmer Badrilal drank pesticide due to the fear of losing his land during the construction of the bridge. The officers present on the spot called an ambulance and sent the farmer to the district hospital, where he is being treated.

Regarding this matter, Patwari says that the farmer of Kolwa village had consumed insecticide, who has been sent to the district hospital with the help of an ambulance. The land of the farmer is situated near where the bridge is to be constructed and about one and a half bighas of land will be acquired. Giving information, Patwari said that the farmer will get compensation for land acquisition, but due to the fear of losing his land, he has taken this step and is being treated.
