Dewas won the clean air survey, secured first place




Dewas News: Devas has once again achieved stupendous success. Like the cleanliness survey, Dewas has also secured the first position in the clean air survey. For the first time the district had participated in this survey and successfully registered its name.

The clean air survey was conducted by the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate. In this, Dewas has secured the first position among cities with a population of three lakhs. Dewas Municipal Corporation will be given the award in a program to be held on December 3 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. 123 cities participated in this survey.

In this survey conducted by the Central Government, the competition was kept in three categories. Cities with a population of three lakhs were in the third category, in which Dewas was also included. Due to various efforts made by the Municipal Corporation, there was success in reducing pollution and the city got this status.

To participate in this air survey, Dewas Municipal Corporation had prepared a few days in advance and different programs were also organized to make people aware about the air survey. The result of all this has now come to the fore and the Corporation Commissioner has been called to honor Dewas in a program to be organized in Bhubaneswar.
