Ratlam News: Information has come to light about the death of a Class IX student after falling from the fourth floor in Ratlam’s tribal girls’ hostel. This incident is being reported on Wednesday afternoon, where the student died during treatment. Hostel management says that the girl student has tried to commit suicide. On the other hand, the father says that even after falling from such a height, the daughter is not hurt, something or the other is being hidden.
The warden was not present in the hostel when the incident took place and 277 girl students living and studying here were dependent on working maids and peons. The warden has also told that the girl student was caught cheating in the test. On the other hand, instructions have been given by the Collector to suspend the warden. The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has also said to protest in this matter. This whole matter pertains to the hostel of Government Girls Education Complex located on Sagod Road, Ratlam. Here a class 9 student studying in the Government Girls Education Complex residential school lived on the second floor of the hostel.
The hostel warden says that the teachers told me that the girl student was caught cheating in the school but no case was made against her. After the test was over, the student came back to the hostel and had food. The warden also said that the wheat in the hostel was about to run out, so I went to the food department. Then I got a call that the student had fallen from the roof. The teacher and peon took him to the district hospital and I also reached the hospital. He died during treatment here. The Collector reached the hostel at night and took information about this from the staff and girl students.
Father Bahadur, who has lost his daughter, says that my daughter fell from the fourth floor but there are no serious injury marks anywhere on her body. Some scratch marks are visible on the hands and legs, even blood has not come out. As far as I know, there has not been any fracture and the hostelers are trying to hide something or the other. It has also said that the post-mortem should be done so that the situation is clear. The hostelers did not even inform the police after the incident, we want an administrative inquiry to be conducted. The daughter was good in studies and had brought good marks in the previous class also so she cannot cheat.
