Actually, the case pertains to the police post built in the Butcher Mandi area of Damoh city, where SAF personnel are stationed. The jawans were having dinner late on Friday night when some people started making noise outside the outpost. Then Surendra Singh, the jawan on duty, came out and asked the boys to stop making noise but the boys did not like the police talk. After which the boys started arguing with the jawan. Meanwhile, unknown boys started attacking with stones. Due to which Surendra Singh got serious injuries. Not only this, other jawans posted in the outpost came out after hearing the noise, but by then Surendra had suffered a serious head injury and was bleeding. Also, another jawan was also injured in the stone pelting.
BJP councilor reached the spot
Here, hearing the noise, along with the people living near the outpost, the BJP councilor of the ward also reached the spot and informed Dial 100 immediately. With the help of which the injured policeman Surendra was taken to the district hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead. At the same time, after this massacre, tension has spread in the area. The search for the accused continues
Butcher Mandi Chowki Virbahadur, an associate of the deceased policeman regarding the case, says that Surendra had gone to persuade the boys and they attacked him. Whereas, according to BJP corporator Kavita Rai, the jawan was pelted with stones, due to which he lost a lot of blood. He has expressed concern over the incidents happening in the area. Along with this, he further said that now there is no fear of law among the people. What will happen to the general public when the policemen are not safe. Here, in this whole matter, SP D.R Tenivar says that the incident is serious. At present, the police is probing the matter and soon the accused will be nabbed and punished appropriately.
