
Gwalior News: The Special Court of the District Court of Gwalior has sentenced Congress MLA Ajab Singh Kushwaha, his wife and his partner Krishna Gopal Chaurasia to 2-2 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 each in a case of cheating. 25 thousand rupees have also been given as compensation. After coming to the fore of cheating with him, the complainant PL Shakya asked for money back from Ajab Singh Kushwaha, he refused and caste insulted him, upset PL Shakya filed a case in Maharajpura police station in the year 2014 under different sections including cheating .
Court of Special Court MP / MLA Sushil Kumar Joshi convicted MLA Ajab Singh Kushwaha, his wife Sheela Kushwaha and his accomplice Krishna Gopal Chaurasia after the prosecution evidence proved them guilty and sentenced them to 2-2 years imprisonment and Rs 10-10 fine. Punished with fine, the Special Court, finding the complainant PL Shakya a victim, also ordered recovery of Rs 25,000 from the accused as compensation.
During the hearing, Congress MLA Ajab Singh Kushwaha, his wife Sheela Devi and Krishna Gopal Chaurasia were present in the court. He sought two weeks time from the court. The court has accepted bail giving him interim relief immediately and has directed the High Court to confirm his bail within 15 days.
