Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today sent a financial assistance of two lakh rupees as promised in the marriage of Shivam’s sister who was injured in the Khargone riots at Nisarpur in Dhar district. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan sent two lakh rupees as a gift along with his best wishes on Kritika’s marriage. Dhar Collector Priyank Mishra attended the marriage and presented a check of the amount to the bride. Kritika was supposed to get married in the last summer, but at that time her brother Shivam was seriously injured in the communal riots in Khargone. He was hit on the head by a stone thrown by a rioter and was battling for death. He had to be admitted to the hospital in Indore for several days. Because of this the marriage was postponed. Shivam’s condition was also very serious. At that time, on the orders of the Chief Minister, the entire expenditure of Shivam’s treatment was borne by the government. Then he returned home after recovering. In this matter, on the instructions of the Chief Minister, Indore Commissioner Dr. Pawan Sharma personally monitored the treatment.
The CM also talked to Shivam several times through video calls. At the same time, he had promised to help her for her sister’s marriage. Khargone Collector Shrikumar Purushottam said that following instructions from Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, CEO of District Panchayat Khargone Jyoti Sharma was sent to Nisarpur on behalf of Khargone administration. The staff of Dhar administration also reached Nisarpur and participated in Kritika’s marriage. He gave best wishes to the newly married couple with gifts for a happy future. Shivam also expressed his gratitude towards the CM on this occasion.
