Ujjain News: In Ujjain, the administration is now seen in action mode in the case of the murder committed in the controversy that started over teasing of girls at the Kartik fair. In the presence of the police force of three police stations, a bulldozer was fired at the house of the accused. The names of a total of 9 accused have come to the fore, out of which one is also said to be a minor. No one opposed this action of the government.
Police have arrested 6 accused in the murder case and 3 are still absconding. The absconding accused are being searched and action will be taken to demolish their houses soon. A youth was killed for protesting eve-teasing in the Kartik fair after which huge tension is being seen. Along with the dead body of the young man, the family members and the workers of the Hinduist organization also protested by jamming the road. The angry mob also vandalized the swing.
Fair closed, traders upset
In view of this murder in the crowded fair, the officials had announced the closure of the fair, due to which the traders were seen upset. Angry traders reached the Municipal Corporation office and performed half-naked. On the other hand, in this matter, the mayor says that the district administration has not taken any opinion from us before taking the decision. The fair should be conducted. Distressed traders say that they have set up shop for 1 month by paying fixed fees, but are being removed within 14 days. In this way, how will we repay the loan, we have set up shops by taking money on interest.
The accused confessed the crime
A young man named Salim, who was among the accused caught by the police, told that the girl had come to swing with her family on the boat swing. During this, when the girl said something, her family members started quarreling and one of them slapped the young man. After this, the rest of the boys present on the swing called other colleagues and stabbed the slapping young man in the chest. After stabbing him, he collapsed on the spot and we fled.
The accused has a connection with the swing owner
During interrogation, it has also come to light that the accused are from the family of the swing owner. Akil and Shakeel were running the swing in place of Arif and Khalid, residents of Helawadi, Ujjain. Saddam, Salman, Israq, Usman, Zeeshan and another minor of his family have been detained by the police.
swing operator blacklisted
After this incident of murder, Mayor Mukesh Tatwal took a meeting of MIC members and officers. The operator of the swing on which there was a dispute during the meeting has been blacklisted. This information has also come to the fore that about 4 lakh dues are running on the swing operator. Because of which preparations have been started to confiscate his swing as well.
