BJP New President: The name of the new national president may be announced today in the Bharatiya Janata Party, which is in power in many states including the Centre. Today i.e. in the meeting of BJP National Executive starting in the capital Delhi from Monday, a decision can be taken regarding the new President of BJP. It is believed that the tenure of the current party president JP Nadda can be extended. The biggest reason for this is believed to be the Lok Sabha elections 2024 to be held next year. Actually, after the state organizations in BJP, the national president is elected. Because BJP has conducted organization elections in more than 50 percent states. In such a situation, there is no problem in holding the election of the party president. In BJP, the national president is elected for three years. In Article 21 of the constitution of the Bharatiya Janata Party, a provision has been made that no leader can remain the president of the party for more than two terms of three years each. Talking about the performance of JP Nadda as BJP President, since 2019 till now, the party has been successful in hoisting its flag in most of the states. During the tenure of JP Nadda, BJP has won a landslide victory in the assembly elections of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur.

Assembly elections to be held in 9 states
Now since in the current year 2013 assembly elections are to be held in 9 states (Mizoram, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Tripura, Telangana, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh). Which is a big challenge for BJP. Because two of these states, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, are considered very important, where there is a Congress government. The BJP is considering the assembly elections in these states as the semi-finals of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
