UGC NET June 2023: Notification has been issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the UGC NET 2023 exam to be held in June. This information has been shared by UGC Chairman M Jagadish Kumar. Candidates who want to appear in the next session’s examination can get all the information by visiting ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
According to the notification issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the June 2023 session exam will start from June 13 and will continue till June 22, 2023. The registration process for the exam to be held in the December session has been started from December 29 and the exam date has also been revealed.
UGC NET is conducted twice every year by National Testing Agency (NTA) in June & December every year. This is to inform the prospective applicants that the first UGC NET June 2023 Cycle will be conducted from 13 to 22 June 2023: UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar

When will be the registration
UGC NET exam date to be held in June session 2023 has been announced. The registration is started 1 month prior to the exam date. In such a situation, it is being told that from May 2023, the process of registration for UGC NET exam will be started.
UGC NET Eligibility
It is necessary for the candidates to appear in the UGC NET exam to have obtained MSc, MA, MTech, MBA or any other masters degree. At least 55% marks is mandatory in this degree. Apart from this, other information for the candidates is given in the official notification.
Why is UGC NET
UGC NET exam is conducted for the recruitment of professor posts in any government and non-government colleges and to recruit candidates for assistantships in research institutes. This exam is organized by National Testing Agency and University Grant Commission. After the exam, eligibility certificate for the post of Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship is given.
