According to the information received, Umesh Kumar Shah, director of Umesh Enterprises, had complained to the Rewa Lokayukta department about demand of bribe by NCL officer Abhishek Tripathi. In which Umesh Shah told that his vehicle is engaged on contract in NCL project, for which bribe was being demanded by the NCR officer in lieu of payment of ₹ 480000 bill and withdrawal of ₹ 36000 security money.
Taking serious cognizance of Umesh Shah’s complaint, a 12-member team of Rewa Lokayukta caught the accused NCL officer Abhishek Tripathi red-handed while accepting a bribe of ₹ 12000 from his NCL residence. Please tell that Abhishek Tripathi, Assistant Manager working in NCL Dudhichua project Despite getting lakhs of rupees monthly as salary, the addiction of bribery put him behind the bars. If there is a thorough investigation, there can be a big disclosure of the scam of big corruption in the form of offerings from the contract vehicle owners in NCL.
The role of 12 member team including Deputy Superintendents of Police Praveen Singh Parihar and Rajesh Pathak, Sub-Inspectors Ritu Shukla, Akanksha Pandey, Head constables Mukesh Mishra, Pawan Pandey, constables Shahid Khan, Sujit Saket, Subhash Pandey was commendable in this whole action.
