Bharat Jodo Yatra: Colors of poetry in Bharat Jodo Yatra, Amrita Rai enjoyed the poems of poet Sampat Saral

Bharat Jodo Yatra : Today is the 85th day of Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra and the yatra has started from Ujjain today. Rahul will reach Rajasthan from Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh via Khandwa, Khargone, Indore, Ujjain covering a distance of 382 kms. Many colors were seen during his 13-day visit to Madhya Pradesh. There was also a color of humorous poetry in these.

Poet Sampat Saral is well known..especially through his cheeky satire, he often registers resistance against the government. His poems describe the current social and political conditions. Sampat Saral also reached the Bharat Jodo Yatra. He entered the yatra where Kamal Nath welcomed him and also honored him on the stage. Here poet Sampat Saral read poems in his familiar style. He was well liked. After this he was seen talking to people. Amrita Rai, wife of former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh, also sat and listened to Sampat Saral’s poems after the visit and talked to him.

Digvijay Singh is the coordinator of Bharat Jodo Yatra and he is present everywhere. In Madhya Pradesh, his family members are also seen continuously in this journey, including his wife Amrita Rai. When poet Sampat Saral joined the journey, a creative aspect was also added to it. In free time here too people sit and talk and share their experiences with each other. One such sight was when some other people including Amrita Rai were seen talking to the poet and listening to his poems. During this, the poet recited a satirical poem titled ‘He He He He’ focusing on the poets. In this poem, satirical arrows have been released on the pretext of Mughal Emperor Akbar and poet Rahim Khankhana. During this, Amrita Rai was seen listening to the poem very engrossingly.
