Barisu Kannada Dimava: Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) inaugurated the ‘Barisu Kannada Dim Dimava’ cultural festival at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi. PM Modi played the drum in this cultural festival. After this, he said in his address that today this celebration of 75 years of Delhi Karnataka Sangh is happening at a time when the country is also celebrating ‘Amrit Mahotsav’ of 75 years of independence. When we see and assess the circumstances of 75 years ago, then in this effort we see the immortal soul of India.
PM Modi further said that whether it is India’s identity, tradition or India’s inspiration, we cannot define India without Karnataka. In mythological times, the role of Karnataka has been that of Hanuman. Without Hanuman there is neither Ram nor Ramayana is made. He further said that I also salute the people of Karnataka for their efforts towards nation building.

Be it India’s traditions or India’s inspirations, we cannot define India without Karnataka.

He further said that I am happy that in the first phase of the immortality of independence, that energy and dedication of the country is seen as alive today. On this occasion, I bow down to all the great personalities who dreamed and made this union a reality. The PM said that if any mission of era change starts from Ayodhya and goes to Rameshwaram, then it gets strength in Karnataka itself.

PM Narendra Modi said that today when India is presiding over a big global group like G-20, our ideals as Mother of Democracy are guiding us. Lord Basaveshwara’s words to India through ‘Anubhav Mantapa’, his democratic teachings are like a light. Karnataka is also a land of traditions and technology. There is historical culture here as well as modern artificial intelligence.
