His son was suspended from active membership of the party and Jayant Malaiya was also issued a show cause notice.

BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya made a big revelation while speaking at Amrit Mahotsav on Sunday. He said that he (Kailash) was very sad when Jayant Malaiya was issued a show cause notice. Kailash said that personalities like Jayant Malaiya are prepared after years of penance and he got the notice personally. This agony was conveyed by Kailash to Delhi.
Damoh cannot be imagined without you: Shivraj
Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar also recalled the unforgettable moments he spent with Jayant Malaiya in politics, describing him as his elder brother. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told that whenever he had to face any serious problem, only and only Jayant Malaiya’s face used to come forward for the solution. In the state, whether it is a matter of irrigation or industries or handling the Finance Ministry or rejuvenating the cities, Jayant Malaiya performed every responsibility very well. Shivraj even said that “Damoh cannot be imagined without you (Jayant). He said that you may have turned 75 but have not retired.
