The second match of the three T20 series between India and Sri Lanka was played at the MACA Stadium in Pune today. Sri Lanka won this match by 16 runs. Batting first, Sri Lanka scored a mammoth score of 206 runs losing 6 wickets. In response, Team India could score only 190 runs after losing 8 wickets. Akshar Patel and Suryakumar Yadav played half-century innings from Team India. Both the players tried their best to make Team India win but could not win.
Ishaan Kishan and Shubman Gill came to open the batting for Team India but could not get Team India off to a good start. Ishaan Kishan scored two runs and Shubman Gill returned to the pavilion after scoring five runs. Rahul Tripathi, who came to bat at number three, returned to the pavilion after scoring five runs. Suryakumar Yadav, who came to bat at number four, played a half-century innings of 51 runs facing 36 balls. During this, three fours and three sixes came out of his bat.

Talking about Sri Lanka’s bowling, Dilshan Madhushanka took two wickets after spending 45 runs in four overs. Kasun Rajitha bowled four overs and spent two wickets for 22 runs. Captain Dasun Shanaka took two wickets after spending four runs in one over. Chamika Karunaratne and Wanindu Hasaranga took one wicket each.
