Air Pollution: While the level of air pollution in Delhi-NCR is in very poor category, the effect of snowfall in the mountains is also being seen in the plains. The winter has increased due to snowfall. If we look at the areas adjacent to the border of Delhi, then the weather is absolutely clear in many cities of Uttar Pradesh. The air quality of these cities is very good.

Due to the snowfall on the mountains, the cold has increased in the entire North India including Delhi NCR. Along with the cold, increasing pollution and poor visibility in Delhi and its surrounding areas is increasing concern. Now people are feeling chilly in the morning and evening and fog prevails. Also, a drop in temperature is being seen this week.

On Sunday morning, Delhi’s overall air quality index was recorded at 319, which falls in the category of PM 2.5. At the same time, Noida also has AQI 353, which remains in very poor category with PM 2.5. The Air Quality Index (AQI) was also recorded in the very poor category with 312 in Gurugram.
