Neemuch News: The construction work of Ratangarh Ghat connecting Neemuch to Singoli road is going on. Meanwhile, an accident happened here on Wednesday night. During the construction of Ratangarh Ghat, a big and heavy stone fell from a dumper filling the road, which rolled down and broke the wall of a house. In which a woman has been seriously injured. Who has been referred to the district hospital after getting first aid in critical condition by Ward No. 14 councilor Harish Mali.
According to the information received, Geetabai’s husband Babulal Bhil ward number 14 Ratangarh was injured in the accident, who was immediately referred to the district hospital after first aid. On the other hand, the residents have accused those responsible of negligence regarding the accident.
The work of ghat section is going on in Ratangarh and the work of leveling is being done by the employees of the road contractor after crossing the deep pit behind the ward number 14 community building. Where Murram is being emptied by dumper, 135 quarters of IHSDP are also built near it. Some kutcha houses are also built near it. Emptying a dumper in a residential area like this in the dark of night is no less than a big danger. Definitely, gross negligence of the contractor’s employee is visible in this. If filling was to be done in a residential area, it should have been done in broad daylight. It is a matter of pride that there was no major loss of life in this accident. An atmosphere of fear and panic has been created among the people living in the nearby houses including the family members of the woman.
Action should be taken against the wharf contractor
This type of accident has happened due to road construction in Ghat area and explosive blast here. Residents have demanded that an FIR should be lodged immediately against the road contractor as huge explosives were used during the construction of Ghat area. Due to which the stones which had become loose are now slowly falling there.
