
Vidisha Crime News: Information has come to light that sandalwood tree was stolen from Rangai Hanuman temple complex on Sanchi Road in Vidisha. According to the information, the miscreants cut the tree with a cutter in 20 minutes and disappeared with a 6 feet tall tree trunk. In about half an hour, the thieves carried out this incident of theft. After getting the information of the case, the Civil Line Police Station has started the investigation.
According to the information, this tree was planted in the temple premises for 25 years. In the CCTV camera installed in the premises, three accused are seen running away after cutting the tree. After coming to know about the incident, a crowd of devotees gathered in the temple. Civil Line Police Station has registered a case against unknown accused after investigation.
Giving information, the police said that at around 12 o’clock in the night, the thieves entered the temple premises from the rear side of the river side of the temple and escaped by cutting the tree with a cutter. The three accused can be seen in the CCTV footage running away. A cut part of sandalwood tree has also been found from the spot. The cost of the tree has not been estimated at the moment. It can be ascertained after getting the investigation done by the experts. The police is engaged in the investigation of the case.
